Abstract Multi-core CPUs, which are mainly used in image processing boards, have been periodically discontinued depending on the characteristics of the cores and the manufacturer. In the case of NXP's P4080, which was previously used in the Power PC series, it also had 8 cores and assigned multiple tasks to each core to perform image processing. The development of CPUs led to the discontinuation of existing CPUs. It was necessary to select a new CPU that had the same performance or higher, was widely used in the market, and was cheaper.
